Tief und schmal so solls sein

Das "Wunder" ist vollbracht. Die neue Achse ist eingebaut und die Cosmics sind montiert. Hinten zwickts noch ein wenig aber Dank FJE gibts es einen feinen Plan. In diesem Zuge bedanke ich mich nochmals bei Franz Josef Enterprises für die Hilfe beim Einbau und seine Tipps!

Polierte Cosmics sind einfach schön

 Und am Karmann gleich mal probiert, da die Felgen doch ET15 anstatt ET40 haben

Knapp knapp sag ich da nur aber da die Felge noch nicht eingefedert ist geht sie locker rein!

Alpvolks meets england

Die Vorhut erkundigt schon mal England und in 6 Wochen kommt dann die ganze Sippe :-)

roofwork on the Alpvolksbus is complete

Ich kanns noch gar nicht glauben. Der Alpvolksbus hat keine Löcher mehr im Dach und das letzte Bodenblech ist nun auch eingeschweißt.

...and they're not forgiving. Although the April 1954 CM article states the early transporter to be a fine , quick and reliable van- the MOT preferred to register it as 'OLD 45'....a decent laugh ! :-)
